MONROE, Conn. — The Masuk High School Robotics program was featured in a BBC and the Association for Advancing Automation video project, which was filmed at the Highlander VEX Signature Event last fall.
“The video highlights our students’ experience and captures what robotics truly represents for us — not winning and losing, but the hard work, dedication, and real-world skills students develop through hands-on learning,” Masuk’s Head Robotics Coach Bill McDonough told parents in an email sharing a link to the video.
“What I’m most proud of is how accurately this video reflects our mission,” he said. “Through robotics, students learn problem-solving, teamwork, communication, perseverance and technical skills that directly prepare them for college, career training, and the workforce. Our goal has always been to ensure students are learning every day and graduating with skills that make them confident and employable.”
