Masuk hockey team improves to 13-0

SHELTON, Conn. — Masuk High’s hockey team keeps on winning. Make it 13-0 for the Panthers who are coming off a 4-1 win over the Joel Barlow co-op at the Sports Center of Connecticut in Shelton on Saturday.

In Saturday’s win, Luke Kobdub had a goal and three assists. Graham Cybart had a goal and an assist. Chase DeSanto and Teddy Wash scored and Michael Leventakos and Noah Comacho had assists.

The Panthers beat Lyman Hall 3-1 at Northford Ice Pavilion on Wednesday. Cybart, Walsh and Thomas DaPonte all scored and Kondub assisted on all three tallies. Goaltender Maddex LaFountain had a solid game in net.

Masuk had beaten Tri-Town 7-1 in Shelton Saturday, Jan. 31. Kondub and DeSanto both netted hat-tricks. Walsh scored and Kondub added a pair of assists. Nathan Lisanit noted three assists and DaPonte had an assist.

Masuk visits Daniel Hand in Northford Monday at 3 p.m.
