Masuk boys swim team earns road win at Norwalk-McMahon

NORWALK, Conn. — Masuk High’s boys swim team improved to 2-1 with a 101-77 victory at Norwalk-Brien McMahon on Tuesday.

In the first event, the 200 Medley Relay, Will Hardy, Carter Adragna, Mason Eannotti, and Jack McHugh placed first in 1:47:31.

Another of Masuk’s relay groups took third with a time of 2:02:40. This relay team consisted of Thomas Rodriguez, Aidan Cammarano, Akkie Yerragudi and Aiden Rodas

Later in the meet, in the 200 Free Relay, Masuk earned first and second. The winning team of Will Hardy, Adragna, Eannotti, and McHugh had a time of 1:44:69. The second-place team consisted of Thomas Rodriguez, Cammarano, Aiden Rodas, and Yerragudi with a time of 1:55:75.

In the event that followed, the 100 Backstroke, Eannotti placed first with a time of 55:97. In the same event McHugh placed third with a time of 1:02:47.

The Panthers sealed the team win and Masuk went exhibition the rest of the way.

In the 100 Breaststroke, Adragna placed first with a time of 1:07:00. Cammarano placed second with a time of 1:14:40. Sophomore Matt Buzinaro placed fourth with a time of 1:17:59. The next meet is Tuesday, Jan. 20, the home opener versus New Milford at 4 p.m.
