MONROE, Conn. — The Masuk High boys swim team defeated visiting New Milford 93-70 on Tuesday. The Panthers improved to 3-1 heading into a Tuesday, Jan. 27, Senior Night meet when they host Joel Barlow-Bethel at 4 p.m.
In the win over New Milford, the Panthers started off strong in the 200 medley relay as Masuk placed first and third. The first-place relay finished with a time of 1:47:38 and the third-place relay finished with a time of 2:03:93.
The winning relay consisted of Will Hardy, Carter Adragna, Mason Eannotti and Jack McHugh. The third-place relay consisted of Thomas Rodriguez, Aidan Cammarano, Akkie Yerragudi and Aiden Rodas.

In the 200 yard freestyle, Eannotti placed first with a time of 1:59:19. Jacob Zajac placed second with a time of 2:14:12. In the 100 yard butterfly, McHugh placed first with a time of 59:21. Yerragudi came in second in 1:03:76. In the 100 freestyle, Adragna took first with a really good time of 49:12. Rodriguez placed third with a time of 1:00:06.
Masuk took second and third in the 200 freestyle relay. The second-place relay finished with a time of 1:53:11 and the third-place relay clocked in at 1:55:87.
The second-place team consisted of Aidan Cammarano, Aiden Rodas, Rodriguez and Yerragudi. The third-place relay included Ayan Kagtada, Zajac, Logan Singh and Matthew Buzinaro.
In the 100 yard backstroke, Eannotti came in first with a time of 56:21. McHugh placed second with a time of 1:01:70. After this event, Masuk went exhibition. In the 100 yard breaststroke, Adragna placed first with a time of 1:08:20. Hardy came in second with a time of 1:16:51.
Masuk’s 400 free relay team of Eannotti, Zajac, Hardy and Adragna had the event’s best time in 4:00.06.
