Masuk High’s girls basketball team is on a roll, having won three straight games on the road. The Panthers followed up last Friday’s 65-39 win at Harding of Bridgeport with a 63-31 win over Stratford on Tuesday and a 49-46 victory at Wilby of Waterbury on Wednesday.
In the win over Stratford, nine Panthers scored points. Sydney Lampley led the way with 19 points and three steals. Izzy DeBernardo scored 10 points; Emma Troesser had nine points and five steals, Grace Sheppard dropped in seven points and Sophia Giordano had six points.
Maddie Farrer logged points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Elena Granata tallied four points and Sophia Infante and Sammi Komaromi each added two points.

Against Wilby, the Panthers came from behind late. They trailed 39-31 going into the fourth quarter and won behind clutch free throws down the stretch by Farrer, Troesser and Grace Sheppard.
Masuk was led offensively by Sheppard with 19 points and Lampley with 15 points. Farrer scored eight and Troesser had seven.
Masuk returns home Friday, Jan. 23, to take on Bethel at 7 p.m.
