SHELTON, Conn. — Masuk’s hockey team has had a hot start on the ice, skating past seven opponents in as many games thus far.
The Panthers won 6-1 over Trumbull on Monday and defeated Watertown-Pomperaug-Holy Cross 5-3 on Wednesday, both at the Sports Center of Connecticut.
In the win over Trumbull, Luke Kondub factored into each goal with a hat-trick accounting for half the scoring and assists on each of the other three Masuk tallies.

Graham Cybart, Michael Leventakos and Parker Driscoll also scored and Cybart and Noah Comacho recorded assists.
Masuk goaltender Maddex LaFountain made 17 saves.
In the 5-3 win, Kondub recorded another hatty and Cybart lit the lamp twice. Comacho, Cybart, Nate Lisanti and Leventakos all had assists.
LaFountain kicked aside 28 shots.
