NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Masuk Panthers competed at the Southwestern Conference Indoor Track Championship meet at the Flood Little Athletic Center in New Haven Saturday. Student athletes earned specific standards during regular season competition to qualify for the event, which featured participants from 14 schools in the conference.
Masuk Head Coach Donald Casey Jr. said he was pleased with his entire team.
“We are so proud of every person on our team,” he said. “So many students, whether they qualified for the meet or not, participated in practice last week. This is the type of team and family atmosphere we desire within our Indoor Track program. Students supported each other resulting in excellent results during the championship meet.
